As Christian wrote we spent the night in Ekaterinburg, first at a cocktail bar and then in the airport for the early flight to Volgograd. We borded the plane 5.45 Ekaterinburt time(CET+4) and arrived in Volgograd about 6.00(CET+2). Ate the airport we were met by our hosts from the Volgograd Rotary Club.
We all went to our host familys. I had a 2 hour sleep before meeting up with Anders for a trip to Charlottes hats family's datcha. There we had a nice walk in the forest followed by a lovely lunch and then a traditional samovar tea.
In the evening we went to the memorial concert at a ruin in downtime Volgograd. Then concert had both modern and traditional russian music. The concert was ended by the greatest fireworks I have ever seen.
Great end to a great day.
