The travel to Moscow went perfect except one thing. Poor Oskars laptop totally crashed somewhere between Stockholm and Moscow. It had been working perfectly fine for years, but all the sudden the harddrive decided to give up. Bad timing.
The mandatory boring picture of ”hey, we’re at the airport” at Landvetter
At the airport we were picked up by our Russian GSE Coordinator Eugenia who first took us to our first Russian dinner and a short but very nice sightseeing of the most central parts of Moskow. I don’t think any of us had expected to see the Red Square and Kreml already on our first day of travel. It was rather chilly in Moscow but the lightning conditions were perfect for some nice evening photos.

A re-ocurring item in the blog will be ”the Vodka of the day”. We started of lightly with a cranberry mixed apertizer which we would like to rate a 4 out of 5 Matryoshka dolls. A perfect start for the foreign novices.
We even got the opportunity to see the Kreml and the Req Square on our first night in Russia. Awesome.
Later in the evening we boarded our train for Perm. A 20 hours train, during which I’m writing this blog entry.
Oscar Gazing out at the passing landscape, which is incredibly equal to the Swedish Småländska Höglandet.
